The sandy skinned dragoness looks almost akin to an impala or gazelle from her muzzle structure, though the scales on her digitigrade feet, back and tail confirm her draconic nature. She is almost aways dressed in flowing red clothes of various styles, often flowing with intricate markings on her skin and scales that make it seem like the clothes merge into them. Sometimes can present with a fully human-like female body with breasts and more skin, while other times it is more lizardlike and scaled. She is most commonly seen with yellow eyes but sometimes spotted with blue or copper coloured ones. - (INACCESSIBLE) True Ancient Dragon Height: 300' — 9144 cm Length: 800'5" — 24397 cm Weight: 19646.55lbs — 8910kg Apparent Age: 3000 Character Build: Average Body Type: Winged Quadruped Usual Clothing: None Voice: Rumbling, Deep Usual Scent: Earthy, Dragon Description: NOTE - this form is inaccessible as long as she is in Infinitas. It is only put here for record purposes. Ilyana's true form is of an ancient 250-meter long dragon with copper scales and massive batlike wings that stretch almost a kilometer wide at their maximum width. Her head is adorned with horns including one that sticks out from her muzzle like a rhino's. All the horns are blood-red near the base though turn into a more ivory white as they reach the tips. Her scales range from a darker brass near her back to the brighter bronze along her flanks and front. She is a massive intimidating figure, worn with age and bearing numerous scars of her three-thousand year lifetime. Inventory - Items - Bag of Clothing Description: A bag of holding - except it is essentially a mini-wardrobe that she can flip through to find different dresses and clothes for her current humanoid body. Takes the shape of a small carry-on luggage bag with two compartments. One is for dirty laundry - any clothes put inside are automatically cleaned, dried and neatly folded ready for use in 3 hours and 55 minutes at which point it is transferred to the second compartment where Ilyana can sort through and retrieve it. It is connected to Ilyana's mind that lets her sort through and retrieve the clothes of her choice. Quantity: Single stroller bag with wheels, the size of carry on luggage in most modern airlines. - Find my Kobold Compass Description: A small gold plated compass where the little arrow is in the shape of a kobold. The compass will always point towards Tik-Tik and lets her communicate with him telepathically as long as he is within 1km of her. If Tik-Tik is on a different plane or dimension, it simply spins slowly clockwise. Quantity: Single item - Nokia 3310 - Dragon Mistress Edition Description: After loosing three fortunes on pump and dump techcoin schemes, spamware and other boomer-esque tech mishaps the Kobolds collectively banished her from using any technology other than of an old Nokia 3310 phone that they had commissioned in Station Z-4, a multiversal Nexus she was in a few centuries ago. The Nokia 3310 - Dragon Mistress Edition is basically an indestructible device that has basic features of a few simple games (she really loves playing Snake and Tetris) but is capable of making calls or send text messages into her pocket dimension when in her humanoid form. It is incapable of connecting to any other cell phone tower or radio tower. Notably she can summon it back to herself ala Thor's hammer. Quantity: Single - Kobold Retinue Description: She has a retinue of 100 kobolds that live in her pocket space. They are her personal retinue that focus on keeping her body running at peak efficiency. They are trained in operating within a pure biological environment with various specializations. Note - for RP purposes, it's purely for background flavor or if or when any one decides to explore the pocket dimension with Tik-Tik. Quantity: 100 - Weapons - Nokia 3310 - Dragon Mistress Edition Description: Its an indestructible Nokia 3310 with a lot of heft to it. Good as an emergency bludgeoning weapon or as a stone one can toss and then get back. Effective range from character: Melee to 30 feet Normal Power: Basically throwing a phone at someone or hitting them with a rock - Tooth and Claw Description: Even though her humanoid form is fragile, her teeth and claws are not for show. They are effective and deadly weapons, especially given they are enchanted to be incredibly strong. Effective range from character: Melee Normal Power: Lion / Tiger equivalent bite force and claw sharpness - Fire Breath Description: Standard draconic fire breath, though in her current diminished form it is less a wide conical flame and more like a little lighter that can singe skin and hair. Max temp is like 70-80 degrees centigrade and is more for show than anything else. Effective range from character: 5 feet Normal Power: Light damage, basic deterrent. mostly for utility of lighting up torches, cigars or toasting up some food etc. Skills & Abilities - Language Fluency Draconic (Multiversal variants) Kobold (Multiversal variants) Common / English (Multiversal variants) - Vocational History Interplanar Explorer Description: For the last two hundred years she has taken up an interest in exploring out into the wider multiverse and planar dimensions. Her method of travel almost always requires her to go with the flow of interuniversal 'currents' - giving her only a limited control of where she ends up. Still, she has has visited a few nexus hubs and a fair few locations so is generally experienced with that style of life. - Education History Informal experience Informal experience Description: Mostly informal experience from her memories. Good at being a medical nurse or vet for varied life forms that may be found in a nexus settings. - Noncombat Skills Magical Insight Magical Insight Description: Where she may be a technophobe, she is the opposite when it comes to magic and various magic systems. She has intimate knowledge of many branches of magic and how it works. Even if she cannot cast it, she can at least look at identifying it. Her main focus is in transmutation, with a keen interest in varying species and hybrids. A lot of the knowledge is inaccessible to her, notably - so its more of an instinct now than a pure text book recall. Vetinary Science / Animal Handling Vetinary Science / Animal Handling Description: Her many years of experience not just travelling many planes but also the planets of her home system means she has a great deal of experience dealing with all sorts of critters and how they work. The limited knowledge she has retained in her humanoid form has focused on vetinary science, as it tends to be the most useful in most nexus stops she has stopped into. - Comb Training/Skills/Experience - Tooth and Claw Tooth and Claw Training: Basic level Description: Basic tooth and claw in her humanoid form. She has sharp talons and horns she can use to gore and slash at people. That said she isn't a combatant in this form, relying more on magic that she no longer has access to. Paranormal Abilities - Kobold Pocket Dimension Description: A pocket dimension that is tied to her five hearts in her full dragon form. She cannot actually go into the pocket - only able to manipulate it roughly. The pocket is 1x1x1km in size and is home to a small colony of 100 Kobolds. it is also home to her true body, which is in hibernation and parked to one corner of it. The pocket takes the shape of a hilly green meadow, with light forest pockets. Most of the 'homes' are underground in the soil with much of the flora and fuana being from her home of Astroath. Limits: Only the Kobolds may enter and leave the pocket space at will. Only Tik-Tik may bring guests into the pocket space. - Limited Memories / Low magical profile Description: Not a power, but a limitation. Her main body is currently within the pocket dimension and deliberately inaccessible to reduce her signature profile and lay low from Combine pursuit. Individuals viewing her will see only slightly elevated baseline human magical potential and abilities. Limits: Her memories are locked away inside of her true body - inaccessible as long as she is on Infinitas or in a universe that may have high risk of multidimensional attackers that spot her. This means that while theoretically she has access to thousands of years of knowledge, she cannot actually recall or remember any details because of the physically smaller neuron structure of her humanoid brain. Instead how the memories manifest is in low-level instincts, which are incredibly imprecise and not always right. She keeps her core personality nad some core skills that are useful - but anything beyond those is a bit out of her wheelhouse. Repercussions: For all intents and purposes she has similar knowledge to a PHD level student with good instincts at best, rather than a powerful 3000 year old dragoness. - Technophobia / Technohazard Description: Both a flaw and a boon - she has absolute bad luck with anything technological related, specifically digital-related. Her brain does not seem to be able to fully comprehend the digital spheres - and it doesnt help that technology she uses (if it isn't robust especially) seems to always have issues around her. A lot of her better judgement also seems to fail when it comes to online interactions, which has resulted in more than it's fair share of her falling for scams and other pump-n-dump schemes. Digital technology in general that she handles also fails more often. Errors, bugs, product defects. She's just plain unlucky with it.This is also somewhat of a boon in certain situations where she can accidentally break or mess up something that is holding her back or harming her if she tries to interact with it to say shut it off or whatever. Limits: Only applies to stuff she is using personally. It's like a 'you shall not use tech' field that surrounds her. Background World Information: The original world was a solar system known as the Crystal Sphere, which had 6 earth-like planets. This universe was highly magical, with multiple civilizations on each of the planets. Tik-Tik and Ilyana originated on the world of Astroath, a jungle planet filled with lizardmen, wild magics and more importantly: dragons. This is where Ilyana spent most of her life- the first few hundred years awake and mothering many, many dragons and then the rest either sleeping, meddling in the kingdoms of the other planets or just participating on the great wars between the Astroath Dragons and the Solar dragons that lived in orbit of the star. Character Background: The lizardmen of Astraoth have whispers and legends of the great Solar dragons that call Astraoth their home. Indeed many tribes that would seek authority would claim to have direct blood relations - however skeptical one may be of such a thing - to those ancient monsters. The legends tell about these beings and how they are virtually immune to fire - how they would coast up to the edge of the sun to bathe in it's glory - and in turn wield it's power to subjugate all those under their gaze in their territories. The lifespan of these creatures are a mystery, but some theories are speculated. Some say that though they may hatch on Astraoth, Solar Dragons as they age will migrate closer and closer to the sun, often settling on the scorched planet of Gem before disappearing through the veils of reality as they grow even more powerful. Nobody knows where they go or where the great, ancient wyrms may reign with iron claw. Their eggs though, somehow make their way back to Astraoth where they hatch, grow and start the cycle again. The truth remains a mystery of course as the whims of such creatures can be hard to predict. One particular individual stands out in the history of Solar Wyrms though - an ancient dragoness named Ilyana, Mother of Wyrms. From birth, Ilyana had several unusual mutations that set her apart from her peers. She could grow more powerful from eating other beings, often absorbing mana directly from their blood to supplement what she got from the sun. As she matured into an adult, she also proved to be hyper-fecund, birthing clutches of 5-6 Wyrms every century where her peers would only birth 2-3 every two or three. Her mothering instinct was powerful as well, as she adopted many orphaned dragons and even lizardmen tribes into her clutches. Today, a not-insignificant percentage of Dragons and Wyrms on Astroath can either directly trace their lineage to her or at least their upbringing, earning her the title of 'Mother of Dragons' and 'Dragon-Mother'. Towards the middle of her life, she slowed down as her gaze rose to the stars, focusing in on the inner planets with a curious eye. She had spent much of her young life giving to her children - and now her thoughts went to taking for herself. For the next thousand years she would alternate between laying in dormant sleep under the mountains of Astroath, meddling in the affairs of the kingdom of men and otherwise exploring the solar system in depth. Soon though she reached a point where there was nothing left to explore of interest within her solar system - so her eyes turned outwards. Relentless curiosity and a drive for new experiences has only driven her further in her old age. She took off from the plane where she was born with a retinue of kobolds, leaving behind the legacy of her many children and hoards as she leapt into the spaces between spaces and chose to explore the multiple dimensions out there. For two centuries, all was good as she hopped from universe to universe, following the currents of intertime and interspace to where they would elad her. All the way till she ended up in a universe that had a predator lurking - the Combine. It was here that she stumbled into a nest that has overwhelmed her. For the last six years she has been fleeing across the multiverse, diving deeper and deeper into the well of magic to escape the relentless hunting of the combine. Now though there is a chance of escape - to another nexus where they may never be able to reach: infinitas.
