| Hey, it's that thing that is part of our setting! Jaunts to other dimensions. Seeking 2-4 players Length: unknown Adventure type: Exploration and Journey to a Place of Interest Potential long-term effects: Transformation, gaining psychic powers, getting some advanced technology goodies World: Rimworld setting, planet Palmion Setting: There's a primer on the lore of Rimworld here, the gist of the setting is a very hard science fiction setting with no FTL, but humanity has started spreading to the stars anyways. In the year 5500, mankind has colonized thousands of nearby star systems. A "rimworld" is a world with low population density and no world-wide government, typically found on the rim of human colonized space. Technology is all over the place, with high tech enclaves and stone-age tribal cultures coexisting, though not usually peacefully. The characters will find themselves in the company of a group of Industrial/Spacer tech outlanders. These outlanders are seeking the means to put down a menace that has ravaged the planet for centuries... | |
