Voice: Well-synthesized low female voice; usually slightly aggressive
Usual Scent: Faintly of gun oil, no organic scents
Description: RoboNega's base design is that of the standard anime catgirl; a human female with the ears and tail of a cat. While this is her base, she looks like nothing so organic. Virtually every part of her is made of a polished black metal. Her design has a very subtle skeletal theme, but the other parts filling up the skeletal frame are the same material and color as the 'bone' parts, so it's not easily noticed. She is built with long limbs, ending in hands or feet as appropriate, with digits ending in metal claws. Her tail as well is a series of chunky metallic segments, versus somethin supple as a real cat's tail. Upon her head she has two articulating triangular sensory receivers, analogous to the cat ears and often behaving in the same way. Her head has the slightly triangular shape of a cat's skull. She has no visible nose or mouth, but at the very front of her 'skull' there is a red circle, about 5 inches across, that appears to be an eye. By means of some sliding shutters, this red lens can express emotion much in the same way a human does with their eyelids. It has been known to glow when she is angry. Her body is shaped, at least in silhouette, like a healthy and conventionally attractive woman; her sides gently curve in and swell out into hips and thighs, leading into long legs. Beyond that, she has no recognizable anatomical bits. Her chest is taken up by the turbofan intake of her jet engine, the exhaust of which sticks slightly out of her back. RoboNega is almost always seen levitating unless she has taken a seat, even just 'standing' around, she'll be floating a few inches above the floor with her wicked toe-talons dangling. (TL;DR - one-eyed floating Terminator robot catgirl.)

- Space Battle Wreckage - Space Pirate Ship
Description: This ship was originally a light attack craft from a fleet of space pirates, about the size of a large yacht. Currently, it is about 20% of itself consisting of the tip of the prow and much of the starboard hull. There is no part of this wreckage that can perform any function, but it is rife for salvage. Major parts of interest are:
Hull: The hull is made of an advanced alloy; it belongs to a ship that is capable of functioning in both atmosphere and the vacuum of space. This piece is about 15 feet tall and 30 feet long, though it curves up into the prow at one end. It also curves along the contour of the ship, and is not in a convenient flat, rectangular shape. The alloy is tough and highly resistant to blunt force and directed energy attacks. Despite being very tough and the armor of a battleship, it is surprisingly easy to work with; indeed, multiple patches and customizations exist along its length. It is not magnetic and does not rust or tarnish.
Hull Piece 2: This is about a 10x10 foot piece if properly flat hull. RoboNega has lasered/kicked about a 6-foot hole in the middle of it, but this could be repaired by someone with the capacity to bend and weld large pieces of metal.
Solar Sail: A reasonably square 30x30 foot section of solar sailcloth. One side of this fabric absorbs sunlight, and the other repels it. It can be used to propel a spacecraft on solar winds just like a normal sail works with... normal winds. Its use as a solar sail planetside would be limited, though it could function as a particularly thick and strong wind sail. It could also be used to insulate a small building, keeping it very cold or very hot on the inside, depending which side of it is up.
Electronics: The inner part of the hull has part of the ship's interior. While this is all ripped apart, there are capacitors and transistors and circuit boards and wires and all sorts of electronic esoterica that should be compatible with standard Earth technology.
Superconductors: There is about 3 ounces of superconductive metal from wires that were once connected to an energy cannon.
Precious Metals: Among the wiring there are about 4 ounces of gold, 2 ounces of platinum, and a half-ounce of rhodium.
Exotic Wood: The pirates apparently used wood flooring in their ships and there is about 10 pounds worth of splintered boards. The wood is exceptionally light, strong, and waterproof - but not to a severe degree. It is from an alien tree from an unknown planet, so it may be of interest to collectors or astrobiologists.
Space Cannonballs: These 20-inch cannonballs are made of the same alloy as the hull, mixed with a denser material that makes them heavier, denser, and softer than the hull. There are about 6 of these but, unfortunately, no cannon to shoot them out of. They are suitable for multiple means of propulsion, from magnetic rails to good old black powder.
Space Torpedoes: 2 torpedoes in perfect condition, each about 5 feet long. Each one contains a charge roughly equivalent to a Bunker Buster. They are made of a very light metal alloy and filled with all sorts of interesting electronics, such as targeting chips and guidance sensors and simple long-range communication devices and low-level antigravity pumps.. They have ion thruster capable of maneuvering with considerable agility. They can fly for miles in space, but only about 2000 feet in an earthly atmosphere. They require both a torpedo tube and a compatible targeting computer, neither of which made it through the breach. They would probably explode upon impact if launched at any decent speed or if hit by a direct energy attack.
- Space Pirate Swords
Description: Self-recharging powered swords, shaped oddly like cutlasses. While they are sharp enough on their own, when powered-on, the blade vibrates at a high frequency to assist it in cutting through things. This won't make the sword cut though anything a normal steel sword couldn't cut through, but does make it cut much faster.
While potent in the hands of some, RoboNega has little use for them.
They could be easily re-worked into other powered tools; like a handheld hoe that tills soil like a plow.
Quantity: 3
- Gunner's Chair
Description: A seat from the pirate ship which once served a cannon operator. It is much like a gaming chair, only with futuristic 'smart foam' that adapts to the user, allowing them to sit comfortably for hours, and stay cool and dry even under the most stressful conditions. This seat came from a military vessel, but the pirates have reupholstered it with animal fur and gold-plated skulls and other barbaric things. Anyone seated in it strikes quite a pose.
RoboNega will most likely keep this for herself.

- Weapons
- Metal Claws
Description: RoboNega has large, thick metal talons on each finger, and larger ones on each toe. These are made of a material with an unlikely combination of hardness and tensile strength, which means they are very sharp but not brittle. They are certainly not adamantine blades that effortlessly slice through anything, but there are few materials that they can't at least gouge into a little. The claws require no particular Establishment level to use, but they are kept sharp by the regenerative abilities provided by her Internal Forge. Excessive use at lower power levels might make them grow dull.
The claws can change position a bit, but they do not retract. They can get in the way of handling things she's not actually trying to destroy and often lead to unintended damage or injury, -usually- minor. Her feet tend to gouge up the floor if she walks on them, which is part of why she usually doesn't.
Effective range from character: Brawling - punches and kicks.
- Laser - (BASIC+)
Description: NegaRobo's most defining weapon - her laser. It projects from the red lens on the front of her face, which most people mistakenly think is her eye. It fires sizzling crimson beams of excited photons which both burn and slice their way through things.
RoboNega has an unknown number of lenses in her head which she can swap out to change the effect of her beam. Some of these make trade offs between things such as power, accuracy, and range. Other change the speed or spread of the beam, while other change the shape. The most extreme is a pinpoint beam that focuses all of her power on a tiny speck miles away, and the second most extreme slows the beam down to a shotgun blast that lances at everything within a few yards. The most extreme is a horrible flash that might give nearby foes a sunburn but can blind or dazzle enemies much further away. Each lens has a distinct distortion in the center that resembles a pupil, and she will cycle through the different shapes to express her emotional state. This makes a sound evocative of an optometrist's testing device.
RoboNega can reduce the power of her beam to simply point things out at range, or to paint targets for a guided weapon.
The 'basic' beam is about an inch in diameter, and responds to her Establishment level as follows: Basic - Write her name on a tank, or burn a little hole in it in a few minutes. Surviving - Burn a hole in a tank instantly. Foothold - Slice a piece off of a tank. Steady - Cut a tank in half Reliable - Melt a tank. Thriving - Tanks for the memories. Excess - A whole battalion gone in moments. -The Planet Buster - This inaccurately-named move is one of RobaNega's ultimate techniques. It uses a singularity to focus unlimited power for her eye laser, resulting in a massive beam of burning, destructive energy. It can't actually bust a planet, but it could destroy a small town, and a few blasts from it could ruin a city. RoboNega needs to be at Excessive establishment to use this more than once, and, even then, using it more than a few times will drop her down a level.
Note: This energy beam is not, literally, a laser, anymore than the emitter of it is an eye. It is an 'agitated photon beam', a stream of photons which vibrate slightly, creating heat and increasing their physical interaction with solid material. The beam both cuts physically and burns with energy, meaning it can partially affect things that are immune to physical or heat damage (but not both). Unlike a laser, the beam itself emits a fair amount of heat and noise, enabling targets to hear or possibly feel it coming. Since the photons are not moving in a straight line, it is also slower than a laser - while it still reaches a target much faster than any bullet, it is not an instantaneous strike. Essentially, it is a more extreme attack than an actual laser beam, but individuals have a slightly better chance to dodge it
Effective range from character: Varies; from a few yards to may miles; could reach the moon in extreme situations.
- Guided Rockets - (STEADY)
Description: About the size of a toilet paper tube, these rockets launch from ports on the front of RoboNega's shoulders. They steer towards their target, usually with enough agility to make a second or third attempt after a dodge. They explode with about with a concussive force over a small radius. She has to be at at least Steady Establishment for her Internal Forge to begin producing these. Rockets launched in a group, as they usually are, do not need to be aimed at the same target. Note: In DnD terms, one missile is maybe 2d6 bludgeoning damage in a 5-foot radius?
The degree of Establishment does not change the power of the little missiles; instead, it increases the quantity. It also seems to increase the number of launching ports she has, but she's never let anyone poke around at her enough to see if the 'extra' ports are missing or simply hidden.
Steady - 2-4 at a time, a couple times per day. Reliable - Sprays of up to 10 a few times a day, or greater uses with smaller numbers. Thriving - Easily able to fire thirty or more at once a few times a day, or smaller batches many times a day, or tiny groups of 2-4 as much as she likes. Excess - Able to launch massive swarms of hundreds of rockets with five or ten minutes to recuperate, able to fire them by the dozen about as much as she likes.
Effective range from character: 1,000 feet, including maneuvering time. Rockets explode when they run out of range.
- Throwing Knives - (FOOTHOLD)
Description: A bit of a misnomer, these blades are not thrown by RoboNega, but are launched from magnetic ports in her wrists. These shiny black knives are about three & a half inches long, made of the same material as her claws, with the same stealth coating as her body. They do about as much damage as if they were thrown by a healthy human. At the lowest level, she can throw them about as fast as she can throw punches. They level up in a similar way to the rockets, including more ports appearing as needed, but retain their relatively meager damage.
Effective range from character: 50 feet
- Tail/Monofilament
Description: RoboNega's tail is made of a series of flat, blocky metal shapes, each one weighing about 4 pounds. A good strike from it is like being hit with a rope made of sledgehammers, and that's in addition to whatever level of super strength she is currently enjoying.
The last two segments contain a surprise; a monofilament thread. The thread reels into the second-to-last segment. The final segment can detach on it own. Spring-loaded, the end flies out depending hard it is swung. Anything caught in the filament's path is subject to slicing. It can't slice through anything tougher than bone or aluminum. The level of Establishment she has does not affect how much the line can cut, but more power does make it less likely to break. Even in the best circumstance, it takes her body several days to repair the snapped filament, so she avoids using it unless she is very powered up.
If it doesn't break, the filmaent reels back in when the tail segment runs out of momentum.
She can also use this to smack someone with the 4 pound titanium segment at range.
The tail detaches and reattaches at will. RoboNega can control her tail even when it is not plugged in, for all the more the tail can actually do when detached. It can wrap around a person and bind them quite firmly - and that's about it.
Effective range from character: 20 feet
- Mouth
Description: While she almost never opens it, and possibly never will during her entire time at Infinitas, RoboNega DOES have a mouth. It's just a flap with some narrow metal protrusions to represent teeth; she doesn't have throat behind it, and she doesn't fire any weapons about it. She can bite down quite hard, and her jaw can also slowly bite through things like Jaws of Life. She rarely encounters anything she needs to rip through that she can't do more easily with her claws or frikkin laser beam, and she vocalizes through a speaker in her throat, so there's very little opportunity to reveal this silly vestigial part.
Effective range from character: Brawling
- Soup of the Day
Description: When needed, RoboNega is known to temporarily develop new weapons systems on the fly. The complexity of these depends on her Establishment level, but they are rarely terribly complex. She has been known to create machine guns, chainsaws, flame throwers, bazooka shells, fire suppressants, and the occasional freeze ray. She would never do this twice in one adventure, and is unlikely to do so two adventures in a row. Also, this exclusively generates weapons - no cloaking fields or force shields or anything designed to do anything but damage.
These weapons are integrated into RoboNega's limbs or body and cannot function if removed. They are generated by a mass of something like a 'smart matter' stored within RoboNega's body. Any fuel or ammunition required also comes from this smart matter. The devices, even if they are a simple sword, require constant energy from RoboNega's body to continue to exist; when the energy stops being provided, they are reabsorbed. It takes RoboNega several days to recycle/regenerate this smart matter before she can benefit from this strange ability again.
Note: She often produces two identical weapons, one on each arm.
Any ammunition or part of the device removed from her becomes inert.
The complexity of the weapon has some relation to her Establishment level. Swords, flamethrowers, single shot firearms, and the like, are available at the lowest levels; complexity increases as she goes up Establishment. Higher tiers are required before she can begin creating direct energy weapons.
The duration of the weapon is also based on her establishment. At the first level or two, she will probably only get a single attack before her weapon gives out. At maximum establishment, the weapon could last a whole scene. Either way, the time it takes her smart matter to recompile does not change.
Skills & Abilities
- Language Fluency
RoboNega normally converses in English, but she speaks all the major modern Earthly languages.
- Vocational History
Criminal (false memory)
Description: RoboNega has memories of a life as a much, much more common criminal than she is. She thus knows a lot of low-level criminal techniques she doesn't really need; things like picking a lock, hotwiring a car, and getting ahold of a scummy lawyer at 3AM.
Supervillain
Description: At the beginning of her actual existence, RoboNega was a supervillain. Powerful, deadly, and single-minded, she was a match for any hero that dared oppose her. Her crimes were always the same, however; stealing diamonds. She never so much had a plot that would result in staging a better plot tp get diamonds later, she just went straight for them and tried to take them. This beeline approach to villainy combined with multiple heroes teaming up against her led to her needing an evolution in her career.
Hench
Description: More experienced, more ambitious supervillains existed. Many of these individuals had the creativity to put RoboNega's abilities to much better use, and a few of these had the money to pay her in diamonds. Adding her to any situation cranked the adventure up to 11, and she gained a lot of experience in the short-but-eventful time she spent doing this. She learned more about thinking and planning from these malevolent mentors.
Blood Diamond Boss
Description: In the depths of Africa, a group of local men had violently captured and enslaved another group of local men. The first group forced the second to search for diamonds, and rewarded them with a few hours of sleep & the chance to live another day. RoboNega happened upon this horrible situation and - took over. She easily dispatched the slavers, but then took the operation over. The workers thought her to be a kinder soul than their previous bosses, but she was not; she was merely smarter. She knew that humans need food and shelter to maintain the ability to work, and that they could only be expected to work so many hours in a day. She calculated the ideal work/life balance that would benefit her most, then enforced it with fear of death. She absorbed a few more operations and had a good thing going for herself. She learned more about how organic creatures work, how they feel and what they need beyond basic caloric intake. She saw lovers and families, birth and death, joy and sorrow; things alien to her own experience. She didn't pick up any humanity, but she at least got the concept of it.
Defender of the Earth
Description: This lasted her about an hour. She decided to pitch in to defend against a cosmic invasion. The amount of damage she did to the enemy forces in her short time was staggering, but her brief foray into heroism was cut short when she blew herself up and got migrated to Infinitas.
[spoiler=Noncombat Skills]
Nega OS[list]
Nega OS[ul]
Description: RoboNega's operatnig system is based on negative logical she calls it a Nega-Alpha-Vowelenary System; instead of
