Inventory
- Items
  • - Transmatter transubstantial transmorgifier
    Description
A Scientific device that acts as a building tool for many of Alina's insane inventions. Supplied appropriate raw materials, it can create electronics, building components, and more! Requires substantial amounts of electrical power. At this time, it requires a connection to the power grid and several kW of power for small creations, scaling up for larger ones linearly with volume and mass of other items. It is not capable of nucleosynthesis so all raw elements must be provided to it in order for it to create objects, so for example it couldn't create a nuclear reactor without having appropriate fuel and materials already on hand. It is incredibly complex to use, and Alina is the sort of person who doesn't comment on her code so there's next to no chance of anybody else being able to figure out how it works.

Paranormal AbilitiesBackground

World Information:
A terran planet a big larger than earth, but less dense, resulting in the same surface gravity. There are humans, furries, and scalies. There are some phenomenon that seem to defy reason, but whether they are actual magic is subject to debate. There're no training, spells, incantations, or rituals involved, but there are a number of individuals (Like Flynn) that seem to have special talents that elude others no matter how much they learn. As a result of these strange phenomena, superheroes and supervillains are things.

Character Background:
Alina was born before her brother, Flynn, to the same father but different mothers. Flynn and Alina interacted sparsely throughout their childhoods, but developed intense sibling rivalry all the same. Alina is one of the reasons Flynn knows squirrels are evil.

Similarly, Alina was starting to build contraptions out of everyday objects before she even left the crib. Unfortunately for her mother, Alina's inventions had a far more sinister streak to them than Flynn's did. It was very difficult for her babysitters, teachers, and peers to handle being constantly victimized by Alina, so by second grade she was placed in a heavy discipline military school for troubled youngsters.

Unfortunately, this only made Alina an even more effective supervillain. Where before she lacked discipline and had a certain amount of laziness to her creations, this experience gave her drive and focus. She didn't fear her captors/teachers, and she started her supervillain career with a bang in her Junior year of high school, shrinking the entire academy down to pocket-sized and trapping it and everybody inside in a box which she then mailed to the other side of the world.

This attracted the attention of the Exceptionally Villainous Individuals League (E.V.I.L.) who scouted her and offered her a place in their ranks. With access to the League's resources, Alina became a menace to be reckoned with. E.V.I.L. awarded her a doctorate in just 4 years. From there, Alina began her reign of terror, rampaging across the nation with dastardly plots to steal national treasures, transform people into plushies, and destabilize corporations (not because she's anti-capitalist or anything, they just make for fun targets.)

Prior to arriving on Infinitas, Alina was defeated in battle and committed to an insane asylum, where she got a considerable amount of therapy that may have mellowed her out a bit, but no amount of therapy can seal away her evil nature completely. She broke free and had retrieved her transmatter transmorgifier before a yellow breach schooped her up and deposited her onto Infinitas.

Extra Information
- Consent and Play
OOC, I'll always seek consent before doing villainous things like transforming people or regressing them or turning the lake to jell-o. However, In character Alina is going to be a bit of a menace and won't seek character's IC consent before doing these things.

Re: Alina Dakar
Character looks fun and can be a good source of chaos. Just give other players unfamiliar with the character an OOC tip that she's a villain and loose cannon as players may not want to put particular characters in play.

Re: Alina Dakar
One suggestion: Please define how to power the Transmatter transubstantial transmorgifier, and what it's limitations are. It requires substantial power but how do you get that power in? Does it have some kind of super battery, does it need to be hooked up to the power grid? What sort of things can it make as if it can spit out fusion reactors it can resolve it's own power source limitations in an instant. If it can make complex devices out of raw materials it can very quickly make just about any other tool, weapon, or device including duplicating itself. Etc. Applying some kind of limitation to the device to give it some kind of bounds helps, even if those limitations are intangible such as only the character knows how to use it, and she lacks the ingenuity to simply side-step certain limitations.
