On a surface level the Australia of Lillians Universe looks very similar to ours with a similar level of technology but with anthros between the humans.

Below the surface, unbeknownst to most, slumbers more than that. 
Different alien species and the secret organizations they fund are in a contest to rule the world. They have access to devices beyond most the imagination of most humans, able to create whole new bodies and much more.

However they don't share these innovations with the humans in most cases, as to not blow their cover all too much, but moreso to have an advantage over the other alien species.

Lillian was born in 1989, in Sidney. Her Parents grew up in a rather conservative area, not really having an idea of what a healthy marriage looks like. As a consequence of that, Lilian wasn’t a child of love, but an attempt to fix a relathionship, that was doomed to fail. 

When baby Lilian didn’t bind the two together, Liam, her father, decided to hand her over to her grandma, so that he didn’t have to care for her. While his initial goal was to not have a small crying critter in the house, he soon found that this also had a ‚pleasant‘ side effect. 

Savannah, her mother, knew full well he was a board member of a company with inscrutable morals. The few bits she did hear of his authorative control, beyond what he already imposed on her, made her very worried for Lillian's well being, and even her life. 
To safe her child, she catered to most of Liam’s Demands.
When Liam realised his new strong grip on the Family, he demanded Lilian should be taken care of by his mother for an unspecific amount of time.
Lillian grew up with her grandmother for many years, often only having her parents visit together for brief moments as she grew up.

When in 1995 the time for education came, plans had to change. Liam had already grown suspicious of Savannah's subtle attempts to guide and lead Lillian's education. A few Years before, he proposed and initiated a system to educate particular minds to be loyal and endlessly working people, forever in servitude to the company and the shadow government hidden behind it . He made sure that Lillian was trained and forced into this program.
As the program was still in its early stages, it was anything but perfect. While it didn’t indoctrinate the pupils well enough, it put a way too high pressure on the young children in it.

Following this, the next years consisted of a very condense education for Lilian and very little private time. Even though there were other children, there was barely a chance to build any friendships or learn more about each other.
The little time they had, they spend telling horror stories and chatting about the occult, as it was something differing from the cold hard science they learned most of the time.

In 2007 she received her graduation from the company, but her father continued to force her into a future in the same. Before even being able to think about what her future is supposed to look like, she was enrolled in a pharmacy study within the company.

Lilian had a hard time connecting with other students. Most of them got their graduation from an official school, outside of the company and needed to go through an exhausting application process. Those who were not jealous, most often were scared off by her liking for the occult. It did not help, that she was allowed to stay in the program despite not delivering the best, sometimes not even good grades.
As her father used his influence to get her extra training, lessons and sometimes points cut her off from the other students even more and allowing him more control over her.

During this time Lilian withdraw herself from interactions with other students and got into hobbies away from science and other people. She read tarot cards and also got into wildlife photography.

After finishing her studies, she started working at the company. Once she was introduced to the shadow government and the aliens behind the company, she received a one months basic training containing things such as self-Defence, how to handle Weapons and other things someone working in the Deep State should know.

For the next 4 years she got an additional training in pharmacy, focusing more on the more malicious application of the knowledge. When her training was over she was unsure what to really do afterwards. She just continued working her job, thinking about what could be but not reaching out for it.

The first months of her job were rather traumatizing. Her father wanted to ensure that she subjugates and consequently *ensured* to use any method he could think of.
From forcing Lillian to conduct experiments on unwilling subjects while at gunpoint up to getting her involved into working on a personality-altering drug.
That did leave some trauma, but once Liam was sure that Lillian was too afraid to act against him, work got more *normal*, if that is possible for such a job.
And so did Lillian. She got used to the abhorrent things she saw and jaded, just doing what she has too, rather than what she wanted too.
Most of the time she was waiting for the one magical solution to solve all problems, while trying to kill her painful thoughts, the horrors she saw and the feeling of being trapped in an unwanted life with painkillers.

Somewhere in 2020 Lillian walked through the door leading into her lab, but instead found herself in a wooden tavern.
Assuming a prank of her coworkers at first, she just pretend everything was usual as she waited for the clean up crew to arrive.
After some days she realised that maybe, maybe she wasn't in some pocket space, but an actual other universe.
Suffering from severe depressions, Lillian decided to stick around. The life there can't be much worse than under her authorian father.
She started working with a drug dealer to refine and sell drugs and couch surfed to have a place to life.
Eventually, her and another women were transported to another Universe, living through an adventure in which they developed feelings for each other.
They got married by a goddess and decided to stick together.
A bit later the two went onto a fae festival, where Lillian got picked by a rogue fae king for a game. She did lose the game, which, for the time being, didn't have any consequences.
During that same festival however her Wife got infected with a werewolf strain, that ravenged the Nexus World she lived on, as it transmitted through means other than bodily fluids.
Lillian herself got infected simply through being close to other infected people.
This time was stressful but also awaken the will to fight for her wife and those she loves, as she felt like her value was determined by the love of her wife.
It was particularly made worse by little to no cooperation between the infected and a single person hogging all the knowledge.
Eventually the infection was healed, but it got worse from there.
The Fae Lillian played with, not knowing what that meant, returned to reap their price.
They turned Lillian and her fellow players into Fae Lords and Ladies, pitting them against each other and giving them magic to take control of the world. Some of the other affected tried to use their newfound powers to control other citizens, turning them into fae aswell.
Lillian however tried to prevent that from happening, by turning people into Fae herself, but largely letting them keep their free will.
That did not sit well with the rest of the civilisation however, who lumped her in with the other Fae Lords who broke the will of those who they enslaved and tortured the same.
Being ostracised for trying to help, while her wife was in danger and her friends didn't help her, even refusing to prepare for the return of the fae king brought her on the edge of a break-down.
She eventually decided to visit the world her wife came from, to check out if they could retreat to it and start a new life there.
However Fate seems to hate her. As the portal opened on her wife's world, a purple breach opened behind it, causing her to unknowingly stumble through to portals, one to her wife's world and another one to Infinitas. The second one however also had the unkind side effect of partially scrubbing her memory.

I don't have a diagnosis yet, but Lillian is build closest to me when it comes to her mental state, meaning she shares most, if not all of my conditions.
If I am not mistaken that would be ADHD (less intense than on Lilith or me), Autism, Anxiety, RSD and a susceptibility for Depressions.
Although she is neither Alterhuman nor trans and has different takes on quite a few things.
