- Description:
A youthful being equipped with mainly Sea Lion features. Sleek light pink and creamsicle fur are the most prominent part of the selkie, the two colors being separated by light scalloped patterns, with the pink being the outer layer, and the creamsicle the inner layer. Small fins of the latter color adorn the arms and legs of Enali, contrasted by their deep magenta claws and small, spiral horn protruding from their forehead.
A stark contrast to the warmer colors of their body, Enali's eyes are bright blue and often have a glint of mischef to them. This playful gaze is oft accompanied by a large grin of incredibly sharp fangs, offsetting their muzzles soft appearance. Whiskers of a pinkish hue dot the areas near their mouth, and in Enali's words are "way too friggin' sensitive". Upon their head is a short mop of hair. Magenta in color, with streaks of orange and yellow shooting through it every which way. It is well taken care of, but not styled, save for the accessories placed in it.
Though they don't really need to thanks to their naturally insulated body, Enali often wears light clothing in various fashions. The one stand out piece of clothing is their leg warmers, which they are never seen without and always seem to be glimmmered to match whatever other accessories they have on.

The same light pink and creamsicle fur dons the selkie. The two colors being separated by light scalloped patterns, with the pink being the outer layer, and the creamsicle the inner layer. Though they keep their horn and bright blue eyes, the main difference is the structure of their body. Their clawed feet and oppssable thumbs replaced by the sturdy front and back flippers of a fully grown sea lion.
Though waddling about on land proves a bit of a challenge, they are an extremely proficient swimmer, and the blubber upon their body proves a good insulator, even on the coldest nights.

- Description:
Though unmistakenly Enali to anyone that knows them, their human form ("disguise", as they call it) is quite the drastic change from the usual form. Enali's magenta and orange mop of hair still remains, complete with the many clips and accessories it ususally is full of. Their eyes are still a bright blue, but instead is paired with tawny skin littered with freckles and little scars from an active lifestyle. This is uniform throughout their entire body, save for a blotchy deep red birthmark upon their forhead, where their horn is usually. They are decently muscular and look distinctly androgynous, with no visible protruding chest.
Enali in their human form always keeps an old hoodie with them, glimmered to match their outfits aesthetic. It is usually tied around their waist or in their backpack, where their leg warmers are. Putting the legwarmers on will transform them into their anthro form. Upon doning the hoodie as well, they will fully transform into a sea lion.
Homeworld
Enali comes from an earth-like universe where the lines between the mundane and the supernatural are more blurred. Long, long ago their race *was* human. But while most of man embraced technology, Enali's people embraced and respected nature.
Anything their people killed was respected, honoured, and carefully used to its fullest including wearing the beast's skin. Having customs to share the spirit of the animal whom was taken. Nature spirits had long watched the tribe and their rituals and blessed them with the ability to shapeshift to the beast they most closely relate to. The appearance of their beast often matches their personality and color of their soul. Performing a ritual in which the spirit of the creature binds with them making them a selkie. This has been their way for an incredibly long time. Most children have chosen their spirit animal and become a selkie growing up as a selkie. Normally in anthro or beast form most of their lives. They generally only reveal their human forms when they need to blend in with other man who have slowly emproached their lands. But work to protect and preserve nature as it's guardians.

Like our own world, those who live soley among nature are having their lands shrink smaller and smaller over the years, and contact with humans has been rapidly more necessary as the decades trudge on. Enali's people in particular live in seclusion on an archepelago far in the northern hemisphere (not one to one, but roughly where the real life Alexander Archepelago is).

History
Vocational
Kayaking Tour Guide
Without a traditional education, but still a great knowledge of the oceans denizens, the ilvertounge blessing, and proficiency on the water, Enali has been making their "normal person" living for the last several years by leading groups of tourists on paddle adventures on the warm subtropical oceans of the city they chose to settle in. Though it's not the most well paying, they are able to get by just fine and find teaching others to enjoy the ocean fufilling work.
Personal
Enali was born in 1880 in their homeworld, at the time almost completely isolated from the society of humans, save from the occasional traders or indigenous tribes passing by. Their people, costal selkies, lived simple lives and communed with the spirits often. Their place in the archepelago as guardians was all Enali knew for their entire childhood and their early adult life. Their society was full of ritual. Every solstice, they danced with storm spirits. They sang wind-stilled songs to heal the reefs and gathered kelp lanterns to honor their connection to nature and the spirit realm. However, even amid all the magic, Enali harbored a curiosity that no ocean current could sweep away.
On the eve of a selkies centennial ceremony, it is tradition to pray to the spirit in their skins for a boon. Most ask for guidance, for protection, for wisdom in their later years, or to strengthen their bond with the spirit and animal they feel kinship with. Enali had a different idea, one that had been brewing like a storm on the horizon. They wished to give away a part of themselves, the ability to hear the voices of the spirits for a century, and in return be able to speak and understand the common tounges of man. A "trial" period so that at the end of the century, if Enali wished to stay among the common man, they may fully reject their calling or embrace their destiny as a guardian. Though many of Enali's community, even their parents, were shocked and dissapointed, they still provided them with materials to trade with and a spare boat for travel, and bid them a tearful farewell.
The journey to the nearest human settlement was a strange and disorienting one. Enali, who had always navigated by the subtle pulls of the current and the songs of the wind spirits, now relied on a clumsy wooden compass and the unfamiliar, cold logic of a map. The ocean that had always been a part of them now felt like a vast, indifferent expanse separating them from home. They felt the absence of the spirits acutely—the silence where the whispers of the storm spirits used to be, the lack of a current's guiding hand. It was as if a part of their senses had been severed, and in its place, a new, raw awareness of the human world was taking hold. When they arrived, they had to adjust greatly to their new and overstimmulating enviroment.
They learned slowly, figuring out the nuances of human culture. Over the years going from a clumsy bumkin to a street smart selkie, hiding in plain sight as they travelled the world. They still longed for the silent communion of the ocean and the easy companionship of their selkie kin, but they were also beginning to find a new kind of belonging in the clamor of the human world. They learned that joy and sorrow weren't just forces of nature like the tides, but experiences shared and created between people. The century-long loan of their senses was proving to be a richer, more complicated education than they could have ever imagined.
Even still, like all beings, finding purpose and belonging was hard. Relationships, formal education, and learning to navigate ever changing circumstances still overwhelmed the selkie, causing them a massive burnout in their 40th year among humans. In that year, they decided to take their "gap decade", taking odd jobs and becoming a kayak guide. It was on a foggy early morning where Enali decided to take a lazy swim through a coral reef. Little did they know, an unusual yellow wormhole was about to appear...

Skills
Non-combat
- Enhanced Swimming Abilites
- Description:
Even in their human form, Enali is an naturally strong swimmer. Perhaps due to their fae ancestry, they are able to hold their breath for up to ten minutes. When in antro and feral sea lion form, this extends to up to 20 minutes.
In antrho and feral form, the have a much faster swimming speed, able to clock in at up to 48 km per hour. They are graceful and agile in the water, able to twist and turn with incredible precision.
- Description:
Education
- Various Half-Done Bachelor Degrees (Paleontology, General Biology, Graphic Design)Though a bit of a youthful free spirit, Enali is from a long lived fae species. As such, they have dabbled in may different vocations and educational opportunities once they left their secluded home. Though they have a lot of experience and natural drive to learn, traditional schooling was dificult to adjust to and their grades suffered. Currently taking a "gap decade" to figure themselves out.
Language
- All Common Languages thanks to the Silvertounge Blessing
- Druidic (A general blanket term for the many different dialects that selkies speak.)
Parnormal Abilities
Limited Shapeshifting (Edit)
- Description:
Thanks to their blessed skins, Enali is able to transform from "human", to anthro sea lion, to a quadraped feral sea lion. - Limits:
These transformations are tied to the skins. Only putting on the leg warmers will transform Enali into the antrho. Doning both hoodie and leg warmers will transform them into a fully fledged sea lion. Taking these off at any time instantaneously reverses the effects and not having access to the skins places them permanatley in their human form.
Spirits Silvertounge Blessing (Edit)
- Description:
All selkies are able to hear the voices of the spirits of nature, and those that are extremely proficent can converse with all manner of creatures great and small. Most are only able to communicate with their chosen animal.
Enali, however, has traded this skill for the innate ability to speak and understand the common languages of man. - Limits:
Due to this boon, Enali had to give up being able to hear the spirits of nature until their century "trial period". There are currently 55 years left on this boon, and they must choose at the end of this whether to continue to live amongst the common folk and never hear the spirits again, or fully commit to their duty as guardian of the natural world.
