Warren Prospectors

[Buisness][Unsorted]

Description:
Established 20 years ago, Warren Prospectors is essentially a small adventuring company, specializing in professional dungeon diving, ruins exploration and resource scavenging operations in hostile territories. It is a small organization with a modest resource base focused on running a few concurrent expeditions with it's teams.

It is owned by a set of stake holders / investors, one of which is the city of Marsillion. The heirarchy of the organization is fairly loose, with expedition teams acting independently when on operations, only coming into the chain of command when off-mission, support or logistics.

Similarly though, each independent team suffers it's own consequences and so forth with the company having very limited liability for their actions - in other words they give a lot of string to work with, but if you make a noose for yourself with it, they aren't going to be helping much.

They have a fairly reasonable reputation for good management, publishing alongside archeological discoveries and to an extent problem solving. They have a decent pre-deployment support network but their modest resources means that they have a poor selection of equipment and little to no support to any team that are operating in the field. Additionally there have been controversies in the past on some of the decisions taken by members of the company which have favored it's self interest over that of the common good. Fortunately these controversies are few and far in between.
